i've crossed over to the other side: i created my FIRST 12x12 layout and posted it the garden this week! I have resisted the larger size for sooooooooooooo long. and i ask myself why?????? i love all that space and can finally fit in some journaling without crowding the design. coolness. i'll still create pages on 8-1/2x11 but now if it's not working for me i can just slap the 8-1/2x11 page onto a 12x12 and slap more embellishments and journaling and MORE pics and,and,and... anyway, thought i'd post this little blurb since it's a MILEstone for me in my scrapbooking life. silly, i know!
AMERICAN iDol
kudos to BO who chose to stand in the middle of the stage when prompted to choose between the bottom 3 and the top 3 by rYan seaCrest. i was so touched by that gesture because it shows support for his peers even though they are ultimately COMPETING with one another to WIN the American idol title. sooo much love! truth be told i can't really bear watching the result show because it's such a let-down for the one who gets sent home - i mean, this is their pAssion and to be "dismissed" by ameriCa is a hard Pill to swallow especially in front of milLions!!! kudos to all the contestants who put themselves out theRe for that kind of low moMent...( it was an especially RAINY day for anWar because the next day was his BIRTHDAY!oh man!) of Course i know this is just a momentary set-back.just to be in the TOP 12 makes them all winners (now i sound like PAULA, ashley - ha ha ) it really is a stePping stone which has OPENED the door to amAzing opportunities... so, ok, i won't be sad anymore.
Your 12x12 looks awesome Angie!!! WTG!! =)

I like looking at American Idol, too. Ryan gets on my nerves, though and what is Paula saying half the time?!

Love this layout, Angi! You are so going to rock the 12x12 world! ;) And, yep, I hate feeling so bad about the contestants on AI during the result shows because I hate seeing such talented spirit be defeated. But I watch and I cheer along with the rest of America.
