I thought this would be a fun idea for a scrapbook page. One side reflects the stamps I use everyday in my A/R job and the other side reflects stamps that I dream about using in my scrapbook projects. Two very different kinds of stamps, I’d say. One is creative and fun. The other has to do with paper trails and bottom lines. Funny thing is that each side truly reflects a part of who I am – what I am designed to do. I love to be organized, detail-oriented, and follow protocol. The practical side of me wants to finish my degree in accounting. This has always been my niche - I have a natural-born instinct to create systems, keep things in order, account for everything, solve problems logically and balance at the end of the day...
And yet there is an u n s e e n f o r c e that drives me to tear paper, mix pattern papers together with a black and white photo and add an embellished tag here and there. I am torn between these 2 very different selves:following my dream and living a practical life. I think...in fact I am almost 99.99% certain that I am not alone in this dilemma of sorts. Though I resolve not to call it a dilemma. Instead, just two different kinds of Angi B. I have been accepted to Cal Poly Pomona for the fall term. This aspect of my life has been kept on pause for some time now when John and I began to build our lives together and start a family that just grew and grew...so here I am again to pick up that thread of my life once again (and maybe sneak in a few new threads by taking a class or two or three which requires a smock or 35 millimeter camera)
Hey! Great idea! You know you're a true scrapper at heart when this hobby starts creeping into your work life :)
And whatever kind of Angi B. you end up being, she'll be adored.

Nice journal entry, Angi
I hope you understand my attempt at humour here - but when you say "unseen force" you're not intermating that scrapbooking is like the female equivalent of an obi-wan-konobe type jedi knight experience are you? If so - Finally! I knew I would find my Star Wars one day...
Cheers
Michelle.

Very cool entry. Love the contrast between the two types of stamps and also how you arranged them on the pages.
