Aug 1,2009... Chris and Shawn threw an awesome pool party for Miley's 13th birthday. It had summer goodness completely written all over it: bbq grub,swimming all-the-day-long, family, friends and just plain summer good times. Pretty much everyone dipped into the pool except for those who shall be nameless (ahem, me!) who'd rather just enjoy eating and drinking to oblivion, hanging out on the sidelines and taking photos left and right. Dominic of course is the biggest fish of them all. Holy BeeGees the kid could not get enough of the water. His lips turned purple as the mid-afternoon simmered into early evening. We let him play hard so he'd get all tuckered out as soon as we got home. There goes that idea when the boy decides he is wired for the rest of the night. oh yeah, good times for tuckered-out parents.
Miley was showered with well-wishes and a nice pile of mulah,and the best gift of all was a hand-made painting from Chris' friends. I think that was so awesome in itself.
